NAS – Network Attached Storage
NAS is used mainly to backup, keep and share data on the network, and network can mean a small home data centre for domestic usage or a corporate network.
NAS is becoming the data centre for home entertainment, to consolidate files of music, movies, photos, documents. Those files can be accessed by wireless from many computers, mobile phones and tablets at the same time.
You can also connect your NAS to a hard-drive and have an additional equipment to backup all the content you have in your NAS. With the hard-drive connected to the NAS, you can programme the hard-drive to make an automatic backup of your content, saving the important documents and memories of your family or your business.
